Rubbish and Recycling Services
All residents of Spencers Brook will receive one green rubbish bin, and one yellow lid recycling bin issued by the Shire of Northam.
♦ Rubbish bins are emptied weekly throughout Spencers Brook, early on Friday mornings.
♦ Recycling bins are emptied fortnightly on Fridays.
♦ Please note that bins should be placed at your kerbside by 6am on the collection day to ensure your bins are ready for collection.
♦ Skip bins: Local Shire residents are entitled to one free red skip bin per household per year. To book a skip bin, contact Avon Waste on (08) 9641 1318.

♦ Tip passes are also available to residents.

These are available from the gatehouse entrance of both Waste Management Facilities. Proof of property ownership and identification is required to obtain an annual pass, which runs on the rates year. The tip pass allows residents 10 free general domestic waste disposals and unlimited clean green waste disposals per year. Cars, utilities, vans, and trailers bringing waste into the sites must not exceed 1.8 m x 1.2 m x 0.6 m. All loads greater in size will incur the standard waste disposal fees.
